Dr. Woo received her Bachelor’s degree in biology at Columbia University – Columbia College. She then continued on to receive her dental degree and Master of Science specialty training in orthodontics at Columbia University. Dr. Woo was one of only seven residents selected for the prestigious three year orthodontics residency at Columbia University. Dr. Woo was trained in conventional braces methods, as well as Invisalign, Damon braces, temporary anchorage devices, surgical orthodontics among others, guaranteeing her patients the latest in orthodontic treatment options.
Dr. Polan attended Washington University in St. Louis for his Bachelor’s degree, before going on to Columbia University to earn both his dental degree and Master of Science in orthodontics. During his time at Columbia, Dr. Polan helped lead the student-run free dental clinic, ensuring the community had access to free dental care. Like Dr. Woo, Dr. Polan is trained in a variety of orthodontic techniques and treatments, meaning patients have access to both classic and cutting edge treatment options.
Both Dr. Woo and Dr. Polan are committed to continuing education to stay abreast of the latest research and advances in orthodontic treatment. They are both committed to ensuring patients have the highest level of treatment available, provided in a caring and nurturing environment. They both have experience treating a variety of malocclusions of varying difficulties, and can deftly tailor treatment plans to meet any need and concern.
